AVI30319 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service)
Industry Delivered Training delivers AVI30319 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service), as a workplace traineeship, to airport ground staff working in Ramp, Customer Service and other roles.
This training program is part of the Australian Nationally Recognised Training system.
The qualification is recognised Nationally and in some countries Internationally.
It is a traineeship and the training is regularly supported by State, Territory and Federal Governments.
IDT provides a tailored "In-house program" for individual companies and to meet operational and other requirements.
To undertake this program you must:
Be over the age of 18 years
Have completed or are currently undertaking your Airline Ground Operations Training
Be currently employed by your airline or an Aviation Ground Handling company
Our version of the Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service) has been developed into two streams: Ramp and Customer Service. There will be common units between streams as well as unique units within each stream. Training and Assessment is to commence once formal airline training has been completed or is nearing completion. Training and assessment will occur “on the job”, meaning you will attend work as normal and at times be asked to undertake an assessment, either via the performance of your normal work, or in a simulated scenario, or be verbally asked questions, or via online assessment or by gathering of other workplace evidence.
Assessment will consist of you conducting your normal duties to the standard to which you normally perform them. We may require an online assessment in addition to all other training required by your employer and/or the Airlines. Your supervisor will be interviewed and at times our experienced Industry Trainer / Assessors will observe participants at work. We will, at times, request copies of various work and training records. Once you have been assessed as competent in meeting the requirements for each unit within the qualification, you will be awarded a Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service).
If you choose to leave the course early, you will not leave empty handed. You will be issued a Statement of Attainment for any units of competency for which you have already been assessed as competent.
